[cisco-voip] Meeting Place Express

Hi Guys, I am a little confused.  If I want to participate in video conferences across the PSTN, not IP VPN, can I do it with just a MPE?

If I'm not mistaken, without an MCU you will only be able to do voice activated switching on video conferences.  You won't be able to support continuous presence (Hollywood squares, brady bunch, etc) calls without an mcu.

Meetingplace Express is a soft MCU.  Anything that can do H.323 can do video/audio to it.

Hi, can someone tell me whether Meeting Place Express supports video conferences with external parties?  My understanding was that if you had an MPE in your DMZ you are able to collaborate using the web interface but no video was capable, without first using a MCU?

Can someone clarify this position please?
