[cisco-voip] Cisco Phone noise and crackley

Is it just 1 phone doing this, or all?
If it's just 1 phone, I'd suspect a bad handset, as usually the codec
replaces dropped packets with silence, not with noise. (Also replace the
entire phone if the handset replacement doesn't help)
If it's all phones, is it specific to all calls going out a particular
trunk? If you're dealing with a voice T1 you may be getting errors on
the trunk line.

Any ideas all of the sudden a Cisco phone connection is very bad, when
I'm talking to someone it's very "crackley" and cuts out.
Thanks
David
