[cisco-voip] CCM entitlements ??

6.x and later CUCM has three types of licenses.
- Feature license
- DLU
- Nodes

The first one you obtain by going to cisco.com/go/license and
submitting the PAK you received when you ordered the CUCM software
(whether via PUT or bought new). The last two you obtain by taking
the XML data DMA creates and submitting that to the page above.

5.x did not have the feature license, but did have the DLU and node
licenses.

if you use the DMA you will get your node and DLU licensing. but you
will still need to use the PUT to get the media and the feature
licenses.

hope that helps

Hello all

Can anyone how the lic file process works when upgrading from CCM 4.1
to 6.1? My understanding is that loading 6.1 requires a LIC file
from Cisco (similar to how unity operates)
