Hi folks,
We're testing out some different export/import methods for upgrading our
Unity system from win2000 to win2003. Right now I have a Unity 5 server in
our test lab with offbox exchange 2k3 all on a test AD domain. Right now
we're testing out COBRAS but running into a snag with it, was hoping someone
might have seen this before.
What we're trying is to take an export off of our production Unity 4.2, and
using it to load a few selected accounts onto the Unity 5 server in the lab.
The selected accounts are already created w/mailboxes on the lab AD. However
when we run COBRAS it says there is a conflict and won't import those
existing AD users as subscribers into Unity... it acts like it wants to
create the users from scratch on AD. Obviously when we do the upgrade for
real, we just want to use existing users on AD.
Does the COBRAS utility backup the OID from active directory and try to
match accounts up that way to import them? This is the only thing I can
think of.
