I am not very familiar with Unity connection but I am sure that the below steps are valid:
Create a call routing rule for forwarded calls...matching on the calling number to be the range of the unity ports (which is a loop as this would be a call that unity initiated and come back to it) then the result of this call routing rule is to send the call to goodbye greeting which plays goodbye and then hangs...you could even customize one without playing the greeting.

After enabling the call loop detection using DTMF it worked. I believe this was supposed to be used to prevent loops. Not sure how connection comes into play, it's been a long time since I worked on Unity.
