[cisco-voip] Phone Keepalives

If I use a one member CCM group would that at least prevent the failover
mechanism from kicking in? This way it just continues to try the primary
CCM. It looks like they are mostly getting that message when they are on
the phone which only requires one missed keep alive to invoke the CCM
down, features disabled message.

sccp keepalive interval is a cluster wide parameter.

Sounds like you definitely have spotty network connectivity. Have to
stabilize that.

I have a location in the UK that has phones registered to our cluster here
in the states over a VPN connection. RTT is typically 135 -145 ms.
Ocassionally I see a packet drop when pinging. They are reciving the "CM
down, Features disabled" message on the phone sometimes and are forced to
reboot the phones to get them working. Is there anyway to increase the
keepalive messages for only this small group of phones? Anything can be
done to forced them to only keep looking for the main CM. I havent tried
just a one member CCM group but would that actually force them only to
look at that CM constantly?
