[cisco-voip] 7940s and 60s - no EOL just yet

The 7970 was actually the first 3rd gen phone released.  The 7971  
introduced the gig switch ports at the least, maybe a few other things.

I like the 3rd generation myself, and haven't touched a fourth  
generation phone yet, but iLBC codec holds great promise for bad wan  
links.
