You're probably getting sick of hearing from me...
Basically what you're seeing with CUPC is what you get for now. There's no
other added, hidden, unconfigured functionality available.
I hear transfer capabilities are road mapped for 2009. Since there's no
transfer capability, there's no way to drap and drop a call to another user.
In case you follow-up to ask about call forward, I've heard it's not on the
road map yet.
The conferencing feature shown in the demo does not work. You can web
conference with MPE or MP integration, but I've not seen where it's drag and
drop. You have to open the file/application/presentation from the meeting
session.
Not sure about the answer with chat feature. I've not seen that function.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CUPC functionality
I decided to start a new thread about some other questions I have with the
CUPC client. I have evaluated using the CUPC client and the OCS client with
CUPS integrations. I must say that the OCS client is allot more feature rich
so far but maybe I am just missing some settings.
My first question is if there is a way to drag and drop a call while it is
active to another user. So If I get a call from Joe and I want to transfer
it to Sam how can I do this using the CUPC client? I would expect I could
just drag it to an active call between myself and Sam but it does not work.
Is it possible to do this?
My other question has to do with this online flash demo of Cisco's "vision"
for personal communicator. If you follow this URL
http://www.cisco.com/cdc_content_elements/flash/cisco_uni_comm_3tab_web/flas
h.html
You will get to a flash demo if you view section 2 and then slide 4, there
should be about 2min left in the section, they show them starting a web
conference and dragging a file into a window to share it. This simply does
not function as advertised. I have my CUPC client integrated with MPE VT and
while I can start a web conference and share a document I can't simply drag
it onto a small window that is part of CUPC. I have to go into the web
meeting and share the program and it does not look anything like what they
are showing.
Also in the same demo they show where you get in inbound call and they use a
answer with chat option. This is something else that simply does not exist
as far as I can tell. Can anyone answer if these items do work like they are
being shown and if I can drag and drop a transfer?
