the "unity" configuration within CUPS/CUPC should really be called imap.
For Unity/voicemail integration, the unity profile within CUPS should point
to the exchange server that hosts the mailstore where the unity subscribers
are located. You will also need to enable the exchange IMAP service on that
VMO exchange server.
End users should enter the AD username and password that is associated with
their VMO ad/exchange mailbox. Since they are VMO, double check to ensure
the AD accounts aren't disabled.
