[cisco-voip] CFWD All not forwarding to long distance number

Your carrier probably doesn't like seeing the 4 digit redirecting
number. Try unchecking the "Redirecting Number IE Delivery" fields on
the gateway so it won't get sent.

Thank you for the response. When the number is dialed normally the call
works fine. It is only when we are attempting the call forward. I
changed the CSS to the same as for any other outgoing call and there was
not change.

Any other ideas. The carrier is looking for 10 digits outbound and
according to their records we are only sending 4, how do you change
that?

Thanks,

Tom

Does it only not work if its Call forwarded? If you dial that same LD
number does it go thru fine?

I would probably check the CSS for the "Forward all" on the DN trying to
make the call.

If all other dialing whether local or LD completes fine and only the
Call forward is affected then I would check what I suggested above.

If only Local dialing works and LD doesn't when dialing manually then I
would check your Route patterns and your Route lists to make sure you
are sending what youre supposed to be sending.

Good Morning,

We just changed local carriers and everything is working well except for
call forward all to a long distance number. It works to any local
number. The carrier is expecting 10 digits in order to complete the
call.

Here is the Q931 information on the call processing.

Calling Party Number i = '!', 0x81, 'XXXXXXXXXX'

Called Party Number i = 0xA0, '1XXXXXXXXXX'

Redirecting Number i = '!', 0x008F, '2093'

I have the following configured on the gateway

Calling line id presentation - allowed

Calling party selection - first redirected number

Called party IE number type unknown - national

Calling party IE number type unknown - national

What do I need to change in order to have all 10 numbers sent to the
carrier?

Thank you for your help,

Tom
