On the "voice port" you want "input gain". By default it is 3, I'd try 6
then 9.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Increase volume

Hey everyone.

Well I have this one site I am working at. They have a 2801 with 8 POTS
lines coming in. And from there, the usual, 3560s and 7940s and 7960s. The
problem is you can barely hear the people when they call in. And we have
the volume on the 7940s and 60s turned all they way up. Is there a way on
the 2801s to increase the volume on these lines? I think (and this is just
me THINKING), that the issue is they SPLIT the POTS lines when they come in.
They are recording the calls, so they split the line into the recorder and
the 2801. But, we can't change that. So just curious, can I ramp up the
volume on these lines with either a setting on the 2801 or 3560??

Thanks.

Todd
