if you need/want to register your ephone-dns at the SIP Registrar this
is the way to go:

if you need authentication for SIP messages sent to a SIP Server:

sip-ua
  authentication username <user> password <pwd> realm <realm>

be aware that you can just configure ONE username and password, but
you could use this credentials in different realms...
