I was finally able to do a test on my own and the result is not better than the local file.
If you use the standard search (via the Directory window) it searches against the local file or the CorporateDirectory.txt on the server. If you use the Advanced search function, it searches only against AD through CCM.
Any ideas besides having everything being put in AD?

Objet : CCM5 AD + CorporateDirectory.txt and Attendant Console
I have an Attendant Console installation where CCM5 is synchronized with AD and that works fine. The customer now wants to make available other directory entries for the Attendant Console users without inputting them in AD. I tried using the local directory file on the AC computer but that doesn't work very well.
I was wondering if I create a CorporateDirectory.txt file and upload it to CCM, will AC users doing a directory search see the results that includes both the AD entries and the manual entries?
Will I break the AD sync if I upload that file?
