OK - Everybody open a TAC case and attach it to:

For defects that are already fixed linking a new case keeps the defect on the hot list longer and raises awareness. For defects that are not fixed each additional linked case raises visibility within Cisco. I am constantly amazed by the number of defects with only 1 or 2 TAC cases linked. It is extremely difficult to prioritize 200 defects each with 1 case attached (randomize?). Defects with numerous customer cases attached clarify priority.

Thanks Wes!
So from a Non-Cisco perspective..... if we find these do we still open a ticket and just asked to be added to the current problem to keep it in front of Cisco.... or just go... oh, i'm not the only one (so what else is new;-)?

In Cisco TAC we frequently get requests for "hot issues list" indicating
the issues that cause TAC the most pain. We are now publishing such a
list in a weekly RSS feed. If you are interested there is more
information available here:

For those of you who attended CIPTUG in October this is the 'hot issues'
list I discussed in that presentation.
