[cisco-voip] axl update requests limit

We have the 7845 dedicated publisher with lots of RAM, ver 5.1.3. I expect
around 800 writes for each change window. Not a big deal but I was hoping to
get the sense of the upper limit just in case I have to schedule more
elaborate updates in the future. 

 

As far as the change window this is a large bank and the change process is
very strict. Nothing gets touched w/o a plan and a change record. It’s a
pain but I totally justify the approach.

You really have to test this against what you have...

i.e. Newest 7845 with max memory..?, dedicated publisher, what version of
CCM, are you doing lots of writes?

If you have a dedicated pub, an AXL app cant really impact your call
processing.

 

In 4.x I have found AXL much less intrusive than BAT so far.. 

BAT still pegs both CPU's for adding 50 phones.. :)

 

I like the change window concept though, max it out and do bulk ops
overnight...

I am thinking of going with 50 per minute for normal daily operations and
