You should be fine; just clean up as much as you can to make it 3gb the install will stop if it doesn't have enough memory, and remember to reinstall BAT once you do the upgrade.

I am trying to upgrade call manager version 4.1(3)sr5d into call
manager version 4.2 (3) version to support a 3 rd party application.
Is there any issues that I need to be aware of? Also I have only 2.4
GB free space available on c drive. I can clean some files and make it
3 gb, is it enough?
