[cisco-voip] Connecting SIP device to a router to connect to CCM

So, I wanted to try something, just not sure where to start...

Can I use a Cisco voice gateway to terminate a SIP phone registration?

Let's say I have a 3rd-party SIP phone, and I want to connect it to
CCM 4.1 (cust request, they are not ready to upgrade) can I do that
via a cisco router? anything special I need?
