[cisco-voip] Phones and time settings...

Hi all -
 
I've heard it said that phones (CCM 4.1x, 79XX SCCP) do not necessarily
update their time until the phones are rebooted.
Servers appear to be keeping correct time, but phones seem to drift off
and users complain, until phones are rebooted.
 
Is this true? If so, can it be corrected by passing an NTP server
setting in DHCP to the phones?
