Hi,
We are setting up a VoIP system. We use a VoIP gateway (Cisco AS540), and a
GateKeeper (Cisco 3800series).
In our HLR some customers have restricted the presentation of their number
and some other don't. With unrestricted presentation everything works fine,
the remote SBC receive the Caller informations : (this is a log of the
H.225Admission request)
tSeqNum 10421
callType pointToPoint : NULL
callModel direct : NULL
endpointIdentifier {"65595B8C00000001"}
destinationInfo
{
dialedDigits : "33XXXXXXX"
}
srcInfo
{
dialedDigits : "856XXXXXXXX",
h323-ID : {"85600_XXXXX"}
}
bandWidth 1280
callReferenceValue 119
nonStandardData
{
nonStandardIdentifier h221NonStandard :
{
t35CountryCode 181
t35Extension 0
manufacturerCode 18
}
data '80000010A901830B124953444E20372F303A4480...'H
}
conferenceID 'A28986FA686511D4804A001BD51B4C44'H
activeMC FALSE
answerCall FALSE
canMapAlias TRUE
callIdentifier
{
guid 'A28986FA686511D48159FA58CDB89FE8'H
}
willSupplyUUIEs FALSE
}
But when the caller have a restriced presentation in the HLR its number, there
is no trace of the caller number on the message sent by the Gateway :
Log Buffer (10240 bytes):
missionRequest :
{
requestSeqNum 10431
callType pointToPoint : NULL
callModel direct : NULL
endpointIdentifier {"65595B8C00000001"}
destinationInfo
{
dialedDigits : "33XXXXXXXX"
}
srcInfo
{
h323-ID : {"85600_XXXXX"}
}
bandWidth 1280
callReferenceValue 120
...
On the messages sent from the MSC to the VoIP Gateway we can see the caller
number, plus a Presentation Indicator set to Restricted. But then it is no
longer kept after it goes through the GW and we would need it on the SBC
side for the billling.
Does anyone know where the problem could come from?
I tried the clid restricted option in the service voip configuration in the
Gateway but there are some problems. With this option enable if I make a
call from an unrestricted number, then the log is exactly the same as with
the CLID disabled :
srcInfo
{
dialedDigits : "856XXXXXXXX",
h323-ID : {"85600_XXXXX"}
}
I could not see any flag that says the presentation is restricted so that
the called number will not be presented the calling number.
And I tested it also from a restricted presentation number, and the log was
again the same than with the option disable : no caller number.
We would need to send the caller number every time, the SBC need it for
billing, and if possible sending a restricted presentation indicator when
the calling number has a restricted presentation in our HLR.
Hope It was not too confused, any help or advice would be great, we're
stuck!.
Thanks.
