Hi,
Using CUPS for SIP call routing. CUPS has SIP Trunk to CCM6.0.1. and to
AS5350XM IOS gateways and to CVP 4.0.2 Call Servers. We want to add CUPS
redundancy and have second CUPS server in a remote location - I believe this
can be done using DNS - Has anyone tried it and what are the details?
Specific Questions:
- Do you create two CM SIP trunks, one for each CUPS or one trunk to
DNS?
- On CVP OS Call server SIP settings there is option to send call to
OutBoundProxy which is currently pointed to the SIP Proxy - How does CVP
call server send calls to both proxys?
- On IOS gateways there is only option to configure one SIP Proxy -
"sip-ua...sip-server _" - Can 2 SIP proxys be entered or must DNS be used?
Thanks a lot
Paul
