They use FAT16 limiting the drive size.

Subject: [cisco-voip] non cisco USB Flash on ISRs

Hi,
has anyone ever has problems using USB flash memories (non cisco
certified) on ISRs (2801, 2811 or 2851)?
I used one 1Gb since CME files could not fit in a 64 MB Compact flash.
I inserted in slot 0, format it as cisco ios wanted, uploaded the files,
shared them with the tftp-server command.
Once the router rebooted and then i could not see the usbflash0!!
All the commands tftp-server were omitted!
After a reboot, there it was again!
