[cisco-voip] replacing VG224 - not as simple as swapping out MACaddress?

That wasn't exactly what I was looking for. In CCM, the VG224 has a mac address (first 10 digits), with the vg248, you could swap in the new MAC address and bob's your uncle. Someone posted to the list that replacing the VG224 wasn't done the same way or was finding it difficult to do so.

If you can elaborate on what you mean, that would be great.

The VG224 is configured like a router. Thanks

Someone posted to the list that they found it wasn't as easy as swapping out a MAC address when replacing a VG224. I can't find the thread on gossamer....can someone remind me?
