Are both cordless phones on different frequencies?

Subject: [cisco-voip] ATA ring issue
Hey, before I open a case with TAC...
I have an ATA with a cordless phone attached. They wanted to add a 2nd
cordless, so we configured the 2nd port on the ATA for the other
cordless phone.
Here are two weird things... the original phone, in Phone 1, no longer
rings, though it works otherwise.
Phone 2 rings, but when the cordless is answered, we get reorder. The
Partition and Calling Search Space *are* correct, for they are the same
for both telephones. The Device Pool on both ports include a region that
uses G.711 (learned the hard way long ago that an ATA can only support
G.729 on one port)
Replacing the ATA hardware (just swapping the MAC addresses) gives
identical results, so I really suspect a configuration issue rather than
a hardware problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Robert
