I think the consensus is to disable SuperG3 by changing speed back to 14400 and removing error correction. VG248, VG224, ATAs cannot do SG3 reliably and it is not supported.

Subject: [cisco-voip] VG248 and SG3 faxing
We have used a VG248 for our G3 faxes for years and no issues. Now we upgraded one fax machine to SG3 and it is having all sorts of issues. Call Flow is
PSTN> H323 Gateway (with PRI) > Call Manager 4.3 (sr6) > VG248 > Fax Machine
I knwo with MGCP gateways there is the SG3 to G3 command to remedy this situation, does that mean I need to upgrade the H323 Gateway to MGCP to fix this or is there somethign I can do on the VG248 to remedy this situation.
Symptoms, incomplete faxes, receiving only cover sheet on multi sheet faxes, and disconnects. (same issue we had with SG3 on FXS port on router but MGCP line config fixed that issue.
Thanks
Kevin
