You must reboot the Publisher with new .sgn.iso first else on subscriber you will get error message on cmplatform when you try to copy file from sftp/ftp -jason

https://subscriber1/cmplatform/installOptions.do

Error

Valid upgrades found however the first node (publisher) must be upgraded before upgrading this node.

In the past, we have always done CallManager upgrades for our 5.1.3 setup by first running the upgrade on the publisher, rebooting to the new partition, then on the subscriber, and rebooting to the new partition, which is how our integrator told us to do it. However, the question arose today: can we apply the upgrade to the inactive partition of both the pub and sub, at the same time, without interrupting call processing, and then reboot to the new partitions later?

If this is doable, is there any reason to not do it?

Thanks!
