[cisco-voip] custom directories in CM 6.1

CUCM 7.x will make it much easier (ie, possible) to modify those built-in
directories and even swap them around on various buttons.
Pre-7.x the only ones internal to the phone firmware are missed, received,
placed calls. The other two it gets from the directories URL. I would
imagine a custom directories URL would allow you rename the corporate
directory to whatever you wish and entirely exclude the personal directory.

Yes, there is an example LDAP directory search that works with CM 6.1, we
are using it.
Just made a few changes to the Java Script program and it works. You do
need another web server.
If you are wanting to remove some of the options from the directory button,
I don't think you can.
I have searched for a way of doing such a thing and didn't find a solution.
I wanted to remove the Corp. Directory feature since I have a custom
directory search under the services feature.
If someone finds a way to remove the Corp. Directory under Directories,
please let me know.
Thanks

Hi Scott,
I remember seeing a custom directory app in the IP Phone Services SDK from
CCM 4.x, I'll admit I haven't looked at that lately since upgrading. It had
some web scripts that would do directory searches and the like against LDAP.
I think you could just change the directory URL on the phone to point to
that maybe? I don't see why it wouldnt work for CUCM 6 other than you'd need
a seperate HTTP server for it.

Does anyone know how you create custome directories in CM 6.1? I'm googling
