[cisco-voip] VWIC2 1MFT T1/E1 card question

Hot insert/withdrawal in not supported as per the release notes.

However, I've been able to remove them with no issues but a insert
requires reboot. I haven't had one lock up, but since it's not
supported anything could happen.

From my experience, you cannot remove or insert WICs or VWICs in the
2800 series with power applied. The router hangs.

Subject: [cisco-voip] VWIC2 1MFT T1/E1 card question

Simple question regarding the VWIC2 1MFT T1/E1 cards in a 2800 router.
Are these cards hot swapable? Has anyone had issues with
removing/installing these cards while the router is up and running?

Thanks, hope everyone has a great holiday.
