[cisco-voip] QS: Ad-hoc and Meet-Me Conferences

I have configured 50 participant meet-me conferences in the past for one
particular customer. We ended up configuring another CCM subscriber
specifically for conferencing resources as it was killing the regular
servers.
There used to be an issue with DSPs being able to serially connect (i.e.
each DSP supports 6 participants, tie that DSP to the next in line to
allow 12, etc) to allow more than 6 participant ad-hoc conferences using
hardware DSPs. Anyone know if that has been addressed?

Depends on your resources.... I have the ACT card on my CCM blade and
have 15 end points (set in the parameters) per conference call.

Meet-Me and Ad-Hoc are both CallManager Service Parameters that can be

Meet-Me at 6.

All,
just going through the CIPT 4.x book and in Conference Bridge Resources
section, it says 64 Ad-hoc and 128 Meet-Me conferences. Now the concern
is that an IP phones support 4-participants per call (including
initiator and depending on phone model) for Ad-hoc conference.
Does Meet-Me work in the same way?
Thanks
Khalid
