[cisco-voip] Call Manager Version Questions

Hi Micah,

The answer to this depends on what you mean by ³talk to each other².

We can build Inter-cluster Trunks (ICTs) between different versioned CCM
clusters but this simply allows the passing of calls to and from the
different clusters. What else are you looking to do between clusters of
different versions?

Subject: [cisco-voip] Call Manager Version Questions

Just a quick question.

Can different Call Manager clusters talk to each other if they are on
different versions.

Ex: Can a 3.x or 4.x CCM cluster connect with a CCM 5.x or 6.x cluster.

My guess is NO.

I assume if you want everything to talk together they have to be on similar
versions. This includes the associated compatibility with what ever IPCC
Express version you have as well.
