You should definitely open a TAC SR on this. It sounds like a very obvious
bug.

Hi Guys,

Anyone come across this?

With this version of CSA (headless) activated on the publisher...

My publisher Snapshot agent fails..
In the event log you can see the error that it cannot create the snapshot
In the CSA log you can see it denying access

Notice,"The process 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\80\COM\snapshot.exe' (as user MYCCMPUB\SQLSvc) attempted to access a
resource which resulted in the user being asked the following question. 'The
process C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\COM\snapshot.exe is
attempting to modify C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\MSSQL\ReplData\unc\MYCCMPUB_Ccm0300_Ccm0300\20081019003000. Do you
wish to allow this?' The user was queried and a 'No' response was received.
The response was the default taken after a timeout."

If I load up DBLHelper, my smiley on the pub is red, the rest are green.. it
tells me 1 job failed (the snapshot agent)

If I disable CSA - restart the snapshot agent, it runs, and everything goes
back to normal.

Anyone seen this before?

Cheers,

Tim
