I think the other thing you should consider is what are you going to do when it is time to do upgrades? Granted, it will be a bit easier with future versions, i.e. in that you can upgrade the dormant partition while the live partition is running (I hope I got it right). But you will still likely need someone at the remote location with enough skills to help you debug. Telephone tag and broken telephone is the last thing I'd like to deal with when troubleshooting. Oh yeah, it also means they need an alternate telephone service while you are troubleshooting their telephone service.
Ask yourself if you need non-SRST supported products out there (or can live with them for a short period). Things like Cisco Unity Express gives you a vm alternative and also supports ACD if I'm not mistaken, and it has SRST support. Cisco CER can be replicated of sorts with SRST 4.x I think as well.
Just a thought.

I think the main thing to be mindful of is bandwidth between the sites both for DB replication and for your media resources. Replication bandwidth reqs i think are listed in the SRND iirc.

Hi,
Currently running a cluster of 3 servers, 6.1.2 - these are split with
the Pub and Sub at the HQ site, and the 3rd sub at a DR site (all of
this is considered one site). Now we are planning to add an extra sub
but want to install this at a remote branch that has it's own ingress
gateway.
Anything we should look for and take note of? Things I am looking at
is Media Resources - for the remote site I'll make it use the local
sub and local DSP's on the ingress gateway........but do i add the
others as backup?
thanks
