[cisco-voip] Unity 7 upgrade questions / advice

Well, Unity 7 is still on new product hold... so you may want to wait....
As for the Unity 4.2 to 5, here is what you have to do...
Backup 4.2 fully.
Blow server away and install Win2k3... then install Unity 4.2 (call TAC to
have them rehost your licenses if a new server).
Restore data.
Make sure you have a Unity 5 upgrade license...
Upgrade to 5....
Done.
Then, if you are daring, upgrade to 7...
NOTE: Any call transfer settings on call handlers will be LOST when you
upgrade from 4.2 to 5... note them before hand and re-add them manually when
upgraded.
