[cisco-voip] Barge/cBarge Question

John,

Can I ask what you would expect to see?

Using plain old barge utilizes the Built-in-Bridge (BIB) within the IP Phone
to join all three parties together. Using cBarge will use an actual
conference bridge to join the three parties.

Using cBarge I would expect to see ³To Conference² (not positive) since you
are esentially being conferenced together, but with a plain ol¹ Barge, since
we aren¹t using an external conference bridge, I would expect the called
party to be unknown.

What type of Barge are you using on which model phones and what version of
CUCM? I think it might be working as designed.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Barge/cBarge Question

When I barge into a call from a shared-line phone, I see the message 'To
Unknown Number' on the phone barging into the call. Why is this displayed?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

John
