[cisco-voip] Unity 5 UM with Exchange 2003 errors

I recently hit a but with the same message. It was actually playing the message when we put in the wrong PIN, instead of the correct message saying we had put in the wrong PIN. Double check you are entering the correct PIN for the user and see if you are hitting the same bug.

I built a new server with Unity 5.0(1) Um with Exchange 2003(SP) as partners.
This is one of the biggest forrests in the world and it has several child Domains.
I've integrated to only one of them.
Unity installed fine and I can import users from Exchange. The users can enroll.
When trying to leave a message internally or externally, after the greeting I get " This system is temorarely unable to take your cal...."
I get this event error then.

The unity mailbox for sending outside caller messages are not availible. Possible reason can be that the mailox was deleted, or if this is a Exchange 2K implementation,
the RUS service is not running or is not scheduled right. Technical details - The smtpaddress field in the subscriber view for subscribers with type 0 is either blank or null.
The only Subscriber with type 0 should be the Unity mailbox.

These users have been imported from Exchange. I checked, and RUS for tis domain is configured and I refreshed it.

>From the information at hand, this would seem to be a MAPI login error, but like I said, I've done everything that the instructions say to do, so what's my next step? I have a TAC case open right now, but still no resolution.

I have downoaded the latest permissions wizard and ran that to.
I have redone the Exchange permissions and gave specific Send-as Recieve-as rights.
All the rights are populated down to the users and the all have the inherrit permissions enabled.
Running Syscheck gives no errors.
In the DCGCreconnect tool I can see the local DC and GC and testing to them is successful
The Unity accounts are part of the locan admins groupe.
I even ran through the Cisco "AvCsMgr Servise fails to start" doc, and all looks ok.
I checked the unitymsgstoresvc account has Send As permission to the Unity_servername mailbox
I also see another event error
ID : 1096
Source : Unity_DSAD
Description :
The AVDSAD does not have a domain controller for the domain : xxxxxxxxxxx, and could not get one from Active directory. Ensure that a Domain Controller exists for this domain, that no DNS issues exist,
and that the Cisco Unity service that monitors Active Directory (AVDSAD) account has the propper rights
