[cisco-voip] Problems exporting CDR records to Microsoft FTP server (CUCM 6.1.2)

I ran into the SAME issue with my linux box. Wanted to keep IOS's on FTP/Linux server. Ended up using "/usr/sbin/vsftpd" as the a compatible server.

I think that's very secure ftp daemon.

Also noted that pre 12.4.11 SP service IOS's didn't like this server. Had to use TFTP on the earlier IOS's.

Anyway, cisco's method of FTP clients leaves a lot to be desired. Just curious if there is a NAT device, or if the client and server are directly speaking to each other. I'd look at a passive NAT issue on a firewall. I'm also curious if IIS supports passive FTP out of the box?

One last comment. When I ran into issues getting a suitable FTP server on linux server I found NUMEROUS messages on other boards that cisco IOS likes IIS FTP servers. I would lean towards thinking Cisco would keep the same standards on their IOS and CCM.

Packet captures or logs of this process would be somewhat indispensable to
further troubleshooting.
