Isn't UCSS just software subscription support?  I'd say use your new server 
to register it, but I don't think it will cause you any downtime if you have 
the wrong MAC.  The licensing guys should be able to update to your new 
server without much issue.

Anyhow, you can checkout http://www.cisco.com/go/ucss if you want to read 
marketing fluff :)

Yes, you need to put in the MAC of the active NIC of whatever server
unity will be running on. This is "hashed" into the license key and
the system will not function if the mac you input doesn't match the
mac of the server you run unity on.
