it depends, but most likely not. even though you don't change anything
there are still automated changes happening in the backend. 'utils
dbreplication reset' will get you and going if replication has stopped.

Scott's post is accurate on how to check replication state. You can also

use the CLI command 'utils dbreplication status'

admin:utils dbreplication ?
      utils dbreplication clusterreset
      utils dbreplication dropadmindb
      utils dbreplication repair
      utils dbreplication reset
      utils dbreplication setrepltimeout
      utils dbreplication status
      utils dbreplication stop

admin:help utils dbreplication reset

utils dbreplication reset help:
usage: utils dbreplication reset [nodename]|all
Reset tears down and rebuilds replication. Use when replication setup
has failed after install/upgrade
You must execute "utils dbreplication stop" before using this command.
If reset all, stop replication on all nodes first.
If using reset <nodename>, stop replication on that node first.

follow the docs carefully:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/upgrade/6_1_2/upgrd61
2.html

you will be using several tools including upgrade assistant and dma.

there is an upgrade center located here that some folks thoroughly
appreciate:
http://www.cisco.com/iam/ucmproto/

it is for version 5.1 but many of the steps are the same.

Just FYI.

Place his extension in a partition that only his secretary can dial
(CSS). Make sure his CSS, however, can dial whatever numbers you need
him to dial

In Attendant Console in the directory search you can see the status of
lines including busy/idle status so long as your search returns less
than 10 or so results.
