To further clarify CUCM-BE can't ever have a subscriber. It's a one box
wonder.

Dear all,
Just to confirm:
1- Can CallManager Business and Unity Connection be co-located on the
same server ?
***From The CCM BE Datasheet: "Cisco Unified Communications Manager
Business Edition is an easy-to-manage solution that combines voice,
video, mobility, and messaging on a single server to simplify system
administration and reduce hardware and operating expenses"
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6788/vcallcon/ps727
3/product_data_sheet0900aecd805e6985.html So Yes, by design it it all
runs on a single 7828 server
2- Can Unity Connection be integrated with CME 7.x ?
*** From
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6789/ps5745/ps2237/
product_data_sheet0900aecd806bfc37_ps6509_Products_Data_Sheet.html Yes
it can integrate with Call Manager Express (allthough i don't know if
the UC installed with CCM BE can integrate with ccme or not)
3- With CallManager, we need another appliance for Unity
Connection ?
*** Yes Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Unity Connection require separate
servers and can not run co-resident except with the CCM BE
