[cisco-voip] ipod touch + zimbra + unity connection

I typoed, meant to say “they just wouldn’t see the messages”. Also I asked one of our server admins if he remembered the issue, and he said it was that mac mail (or whatever programs mac’s use) didn’t like the content type.

I don’t know about zimbra, but if I remember correctly exchange marked voicemail in a special way that Mac’s did not like (they just would see the messages). That’s my shot in the dark.

Ok, shot in the dark here:

We're using unity connection, and I got Zimbra client configured to download voicemail as an external account. It works great.

Unfortunately, when I try to use my IPod touch, it doesn't download voice messages. It will download any email message sent to that voicemail box, but that's it.

The Zimbra server actually exports the external folder so it's viewable by any iMAP client, which I have confirmed works with other clients (except Outlook).

I have a suspicion it has something to do with either the way the iPod retrieves the mail or the Exchange emulator. I'm hoping that testing Outlook will confirm it's just the iPod touch so we can focus on that.

Any ideas?
