[cisco-voip] CCM6 or 7 recovery disk myth

The recovery disk is mostly useful when you have an unexpected shutdown and
the file system pointers/inodes are corrupted and you are unable to boot.
There is an automatic filesystem recovery which has a chance to bring you
back, but usually it takes the manual repair.

hi guys,
has anyone used the "Recovery disk" supplied by Cisco with the CCM media
kit?
I never had to use it so I am just wondering in what circumtances we
need to use it?
Also any inside would be appreciated - e.g. if it repairs RPM's then
does it removes database or what?
