Right, COBRAS will map the COS to an existing COS on the new server.
It does not backup the contents of the original COS (first item listed
under "COBRAS Does Not Get:" in the help file).
For PINs, those should be preserved, I haven't seen a problem with
them. There is one caveat that restores from Unity 7 to UC 7 will lose
them, but other than that, they should work. If you can reproduce the
problem, I'd suggest opening a TAC case so a bug can be filed.
