[cisco-voip] VG224 issue

A few notes to clear some things up:

VG224s are routers with FXS ports. They have the same commands and
support as a 2800 would. Meaning: SIP, SCCP, H323, and MGCP can all
be run on the VG224, and they can all be run simultaneously.

For faxing, we've had a few bugs recently with MGCP T38 ( CSCsy29533 ,
CSCsw39039), but generally you will find wider support for faxing with
MGCP/H323/SIP than you will with SCCP.

SCCP did not support any sort of fax relay until 12.4(11)T, and it
supports Cisco fax relay and NSE based T38 afterwards.

You can also run NSE based modem passthrough with SCCP. Note that all
of these SCCP fax methods use Cisco-proprietary NSEs which will not be
compatible with something like a Rightfax server or another T38
solution.

For the different configuration options, here is the configuration for
reference:

---Fax/Modem Passthrough (NSE)
SIP/H323
	dial-peer or voice service voip
	  modem passthrough nse codec g711u
MGCP
mgcp modem passthrough voip mode nse

---Cisco Fax Relay (NSE)

	mgcp fax t38 inhibit

SCCP
	voice service voip
   	  fax protocol cisco (12.4(11)T)

---NSE T.38

	mgcp default-package fxr-package
no mgcp fax t38 inhibit (default)

SCCP

---Modem Relay NSE
SIP/H323
dial-peer voice 1 voip or voice service voip
modem relay nse codec g711ulaw gw-controlled
   	  no fax-relay sg3-to-g3

MGCP
mgcp modem relay voip mode nse gw-controlled

Hope this clarifies a bit.
