[cisco-voip] Call Manager v7 Controlling Admin Access to Phones by Location

I could be hallucinating but I could've sworn there were access control methods within CCM. Therefore you could, in theory, blanket assign users rights to change phone settings and nothing else with a user login/password you specify. Maybe this was only possible under CCM 4.x.... This way you could just give users at a certain location a login/password combination to accomplish just this.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Call Manager v7 Controlling Admin Access to Phones by Location

I've had a few requests asking for users
at certain sites be given access to change Phone settings for their site.
Is it possible to limit an end user access to phones by location?
It appears that I can give them this access but they can modify any
phone on the cluster.

If not, is there a 3rd party app thats
available?

Thanks,
Steve
