In 6.x best way is going to be to normalize numbers being dialed from sites (prefix the area code if they only dial 7 digits, we use translation patterns so the user can see how we expect them to dail), let your route plan determine the best primary, secondary, so-forth sites to send calls to for certain area codes, and use the called party transformations on the route-list to send the number out how your telco expects it

The best way to do this from knowledge is with route patterns and strip digits and or add digits. If anyone has a better way I would like to hear cause we do this for a fair amount of sites.

CUCM 6.1.2.1000-13 / MGCP gateways.
I have multiple sites with local PRI(s) at each site. What I would like to do is route long distance calls to PRI(s) in those area codes.
Example: Caller in area code 910 dials a number in 757 area code. I would like to route that call to the PRI in the 757 area code as a local call.
Is the best way to do this with a Route Pattern and strip the digits?
Thanks
Bob
