We use 9.@ route patterns exclusively and attach the appropriate route filters. All our LD goes out one set of trunks, backed up by remote trunks. All local calls get routed to the appropriate trunks then out the backup trunks at the other locations.

www.localcallingguide.com is your friend.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Route calls to PRIs at other sites

CUCM 6.1.2.1000-13 / MGCP gateways.

I have multiple sites with local PRI(s) at each site. What I would like to do is route long distance calls to PRI(s) in those area codes.

Example: Caller in area code 910 dials a number in 757 area code. I would like to route that call to the PRI in the 757 area code as a local call.

Is the best way to do this with a Route Pattern and strip the digits?

Thanks

Bob
