is your ASA that is doing the UC proxy the default gateway?

If not you are going to need to do some policy maps to force traffic to it
in order to get to the phone.

Take a look in CUCM and you see that the external phone registered with the
external IP.  Thus your internal phones will go out default route to the
internet.
