[cisco-voip] CUCM 8 Release date

Chris,

I'd strongly urge you to wait for at least 3-6 months after the release dat before you implement CUCM 8.0.  If it's anything like CUCM 7.1(3), there will be an patch release shortly after containing all the bugs found in production environments. I'd rather let other guys implement it in their environment, experience the hell of undocumented bugs, and then install the newest version containing the bug fixes.

I think it’s still closer to 18 months. However, it varies depending if you are looking at an individual product’s launch or a solution’s launch (whole UC 8.0 suite).

Chris, are we back to a 12 month cycle between major releases, or is it still closer to 18 months?
