[cisco-voip] Is anyone using using a non-Cisco approved server forCUCM?

Wow, I wasn't expecting any replies until the morning.  Thanks for the info.  Good to know I wasn't the only one who received a quote for double the price of the Cisco spec'd server.

I think we can all agree that that HP badged servers are cheaper. But I think the original request was for non-CCS approved HP boxes. The current discontinued MCS-7845v2 specs are about double the cost of a current spec'ed model. My HP rep couldn't believe I was buying this over the current specs at double the cost. So basically, double the cost and at half the performance. :(

I'm getting ready to replace 3 of my 7845's that are going 
end-of-support with HP's. MUCH cheaper.
