[cisco-voip] 7200VXR as Session Border Controller/CUBE

I understand the ASR1000-RP2 will have SBC as Integrated Application.
But I can't vouch for the quality/features.

Very cute. You obviously don't have a clue how poorly documented the
features we are attempting to use actually are.

So, with the consensus of the people on this list as well as some on
cisco-nsp, the SBC facilities in IOS are not up to par with the market
it would seem. And instead of purchasing a XR 12000 platform its cheaper
to consider market leaders in the field of session border controllers
like Acmepacket or Covergence.

So thanks again for your help.

C.

Hello,

So far we have established that a 7204VXR is capable of providing
SBC-"like" functionality to a SIP gateway.

Does anyone care to provide any relevant configuration examples for
this? Anyone want to throw me a bone?

Thanks in advance,

C. Flav
