You also need to make sure that the "Digest User" on the third-party sip
device is set to the user you created. I believe it also uses the "digest
credential" fields of the user, not the passwords.

The SIP username you have configured in X-Lite doesn't match a SIP username
in CM6 which is why you are getting 404 Not Found.

Subject: [cisco-voip] X-lite or SIP softphone
I've been trying to get X-lite working as a SIP phone and I keep getting Not
Found error 404 and can't figure out what I'm banging my head against.
I have setup the SIP 3rd party phone in CM 6.1.2.1106, setup user (AD user)
and setup the device with extension.
I go to SIP Phone and enter username / Password / CM IP for SIP Domain and
no matter how I enter the info I get registration failed.
what am I Missing? I've been through the FAQ and Googled and each thing has
given me a little but I'm still at NOT REGISTERED.
Any help woould be appriciated
Scott
